The IATRC sponsors two meetings annually, focusing on trade issues of general interest.

Annual General Meetings are designed for IATRC members. The December meetings provide an opportunity to report on-going research, and to discuss research priorities and plans. They facilitate the interchange of ideas among academic, government and business researchers and foster collaboration . In addition, a Theme Day is devoted to a single topic which may be a policy issue, and area of research or a research methodology. Summer Symposium. Trade Policy Research and Analysis Symposia are sponsored by the IATRC. These are open to both members and non-members. Symposia are designed to provide comprehensive treatment of timely topics of long-term interest.
